       Youth In Action

We as youth want to be involved in something. I know for my family we have been a part of missions since April 2002. At first I wasn’t really interested in doing missions, I was content to stay at home. But slowly, God started to show me that I needed to go. So as you look at these pictures, ask God if He is tugging at your heart to go and spread the gospel. Do it, it’s one thing you won’t regret!!!

Futbol– rapido: We were invited to see a soccer game, but with a twist on the  original version. Futbol-rapido can be best described as arena soccer at best. The field is way smaller with artificial turf, and looks like an outside hockey rink.  Each team has five players and a goal keeper. This game is much shorter than a regular soccer game and only lasts for about an hour. This was a great experience and is a must-see when visiting.

Something New

Taco Perron No! This does not mean, dog taco!  It is a carne asada (grilled steak) taco.  Simply translated— a “dog gone good” taco!  A Taco Perron is no ordinary taco and is mouth-watering, tasty.  The Taco Perron starts with a flour tortilla heating on the stove with a monterrey jack type cheese melting– waiting for it’s grilled chopped steak to top it.  Then whole pinto beans, homemade guacamole, salsa picante, chopped onions and cilantro finish off its ingredients.   You gotta try it!
